When the service works best
Small moves (studio to 2-bed flats), part-loads, single-piece moves, Gumtree or Facebook Marketplace pickups, charity-shop drop-offs, small-trade jobs. All bread and butter. Less suited to full-family 4-bed house moves with a three-man packing crew — for that you want a proper removals firm. I’ll tell you which one you’re booking up front rather than taking on something that was never going to fit.
Help on the day
Need an extra pair of hands? £110/hr for two people instead of £75/hr. Prefer to save the money and muck in yourself? Perfectly fine. If you’re moving heavy furniture or lots of boxes, at minimum bring someone to hold doors — it makes everything faster.
