What I take
Every mattress size, every type: foam, sprung, pocket-sprung, hybrid, memory foam, latex. Divans with drawers are fine. Headboards, bed frames and bases go on the same run — metal or wood, either works.
Where mattresses actually go
UK mattress recycling is patchy but Bristol has decent end points. Where a mattress is in reusable nick it can go to a reuse stream; otherwise it goes to a mattress-specific recycler that strips the steel, foam and cover separately. I can’t promise recycling on every job — capacity depends on the facility on the day — but that’s the intent.
