Removals are priced hourly, so you only pay for the time the job actually takes. I’ll give an estimate from your room list up front and confirm on the day.
Just me and the van — works for studios, 1-beds and part-loads.

How much does a man with a van cost in Bristol?
Removals are charged by the hour — £75 for one person or £110 for two — so you only pay for the time the job actually takes. There’s no VAT and no call-out fee, and the price is confirmed before we load. A typical 1-bed move is 3–6 hours; a 2-bed is 5–9 hours.
How much is rubbish or house clearance?
Clearances are priced by visible volume — like skip hire but with no VAT and all the loading done for you — from £150 for a small 2-yard load up to £430 for a full house. Single items can be priced individually instead (sofa £95, fridge £120) when that works out cheaper.
Is there any VAT or hidden charge?
No VAT, no call-out fee, and no minimum-job padding — I charge the actual time or the agreed volume price. The price quoted is the price you pay.
Is a man with a van cheaper than a skip?
Usually comparable or cheaper once you factor in the skip permit, the days it sits on your drive, and the fact you’d be loading it yourself. We bring the van, load it for you, and take it away the same visit — with no VAT.
