How it works
Give me the seller’s address, your address, and a rough description of what we’re collecting. I’ll estimate the time (it’s usually drive-to-seller + 15 minutes load + drive-to-you + 15 minutes unload). You confirm with the seller, I confirm with you, and we go. If the seller wants cash on collection, flag that when booking so I bring it — or transfer ahead and I just pick up.
When it’s worth getting help
Worth booking two-man rates (£110/hr) if the item is over about 60kg, has stairs at either end, or is physically awkward (a 3-seater sofa, a commercial fridge, a solid-wood wardrobe). For normal items one person is fine — I’ll tell you which applies based on what you’re collecting.
