Heat-pump dryers contain a small refrigerant charge which is why they go to a proper WEEE facility, not a side street.

Getting it out without scuffing

Utility rooms and galley kitchens are tight spaces. I trolley rather than slide — old vinyl and laminate floors take a beating from dragged appliance feet. If the dryer is stacked on a washer, a strop and a sack truck get it down safely, and I’ll rebalance the washer underneath if you want it left plumbed in.
